Probate is the process of dealing with a deceased person's estate. When a person passes away, if they have assets such as money in a bank or a property, in order to transfer those assets Probate must be done. 

When you obtain Probate, if the deceased made a will the document that is issued is known as a Grant of Probate.  When no Will exists the probate still needs to be obtained but the probate that is issued is known as Letters of Administration

 Yes, the government have now introduced an online probate application system. If you are unable to use the online probate system we would be more than willing to provide probate advice.
